Colon Street - the oldest street in the Philippines and built by the Spaniards in 1565. Named after Christopher Columbus and developed by Miguel Lopez de Legaspi, the Spanish conquistador who arrived in the Philippines to establish a colony, the place became the centre for commercial activities in downtown Cebu. At present, it is a shopping destination for bargain hunters.

Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral - The ecclesiastical seat of the Archdiocese of Cebu. Established as a diocese on 1545 and has become archdiocese on 1934 with dioceses in Dumaguete, Maasin, Tagbilaran and Talibon.

Magellan's Cross - a Christian cross planted by Portuguese, and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on (depending on source) April 14 or 21, 1521.

Basilica Church Minore del Patron Santo Nino - a 16th century church in Cebu City in the Philippines. It was built purportedly on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño, a sculpture depicting the Holy Child Jesus found by Spanish explorers in 1565 preserved in a burned wooden box which was left behind during the 1521 Magellan expedition.

Casa Gorordo Museum - built in the mid-19th century, was bought by Juan Isidro de Gorordo in 1863. Now under the Aboitiz Foundation, the house has been restored and outfitted as a house museum that showcases the elegant lifestyle of the past centuries.

Fort de San Pedro - is a military defense structure, built by Spanish and indigenous Cebuano laborers under the command of Spanish conquistador, Miguel López de Legazpi and the Spanish Government in Cebu. It is located in the area now called Plaza Indepedencia, in the Pier Area of Cebu City, Philippines.

University of San Carlos - the oldest school in the country established in 1565. This was formerly called Colegio de San lldefonso, established by the Jesuits.
